"Arts Without Boundaries"

The members of Lambda Epsilon Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated announces a Photo exhibition Arts Without Boundaries at The NAIO Gallery on Sunday, April 22, 2007, at 3:00 P.M.  The NAIO Gallery is located at 477 Flat Shoals Road, SE, Atlanta, GA., 404-522-2283. 

The exhibit will feature photographs created by students from Marbut Elementary School, Chapel Hill Middle School and Green Forest Christian Academy.   

Arts Without Boundaries  is a Chapter program that is designed to get young people excited about photography and to encourage them to turn their hobby into a business thus allowing them to gain economic power.  Economic empowerment is at the forefront of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated’s new International Program – E. S. P. - Economics, Sisterhood and Partnership, which was unveiled at the Sorority’s 2006 National Convention by their Centennial National President, Barbara A. McKinzie.

Students were provided disposable cameras and instructed to express themselves by photographing scenery, landscape, people, fun activities or pets.  The results of their hard work and creativity will be formally display at this photo exhibition.   The Photographs will be available for purchase at the exhibition.
